Exhaust System Components:
This exhaust system package includes the following components:
- Valvetronic Muffler (Retains OEM Valve Settings - No Remote)
Unlock +17 WHP gains and elevate your Porsche 718 GT4 RS driving experience with a dyno-tested, valvetronic exhaust engineered for uncompromising performance and an unmistakable soundtrack.
Our catless exhaust system delivered a real-world increase from 458 WHP to 475 WHP, along with sharper throttle response and a more engaging power band—without triggering a CEL or requiring an ECU tune. For European drivers tuning would be required.
This high-performance setup combines valvetronic technology with over axle pipes (OAP) / downpipes, giving you precise control over sound and backpressure. With valves closed, exhaust gases are routed through the muffler to maintain a comfortable, refined tone. When fully open, the system unleashes a raw, motorsport-inspired note that makes every drive feel like a track session.
Crafted from T304 high-grade stainless steel, each component is precision-engineered for perfect fitment, durability, and maximum flow. Custom-designed muffler internals create the GT4 RS’s signature high-revving character, while over-axle pipes / downpipes remove bottlenecks in the exhaust path to free up power and sound volume.
Q: What does the full exhaust setup consist of?
A: The complete valvetronic exhaust package features a Valvetronic muffler, over-axle pipes (sometimes called downpipes), and your choice of dual exhaust tips in five different finishes to perfectly match your style.
Currently we don’t offer headers for the 718 Cayman GT4 RS and 718 Spyder RS model.
Q: How do I control the exhaust valves?
A: The Fi valvetronic exhaust offers full integration with the Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE) system. Using the factory button on the center console, you can switch between Sport and Comfort modes to open or close the exhaust valves:
- Sport mode: Valves open for a more aggressive sound.
- Comfort mode: Valves remain closed until reaching higher RPMs (typically between 4,000–5,500 RPM).
Fi EXHAUST also offers a standalone valve controller that bypasses the factory PSE system, allowing you to keep the valves fully open at all times. This provides uninterrupted, pure exhaust sound without automatic modulation.
Please note: The Fi remote controller and the factory PSE control are not interchangeable. You will need to choose one method for controlling your valves.
Q: Will this exhaust system trigger a check engine light (CEL)?
A: A muffler-only replacement will not trigger a CEL on any GT4 RS model, as the factory cats are not being replaced.
For Non-OPF models the over-axle pipes (OAP) also will not trigger a CEL, since only the header-mounted sensors are monitored.
Our recommendation for Non-OPF vehicles: Pair the Fi EXHAUST over-axle pipes and valved muffler to achieve the most invigorating sound profile without requiring tuning or risking any CEL. This setup has been tested in real world conditions with zero issues.
For OPF-equipped models (typically European-spec), over axle pipes are monitored and tuning would be required to prevent CEL from being triggered.
Q: What kind of performance gains can I expect? How much horsepower increases?
A: A dyno test on Norh American Non-OPF model showed real-world gain of +17.2 HP and +6.1 Nm, achieved without tuning and with no CEL. The exhaust setup included a valved muffler and over-axle pipe/downpipe, tested under consistent environmental conditions. The gains reflect real-world improvements without any additional engine tuning.

Stock Exhaust Dyno Results:
 Max Power: 458.35 HP @ 8,150 RPM
 Max Torque: 330.34 Nm @ 6,020 RPM -
With Fi EXHAUST Muffler + Over-Axle Pipes/Downpipe Dyno Results:
 Max Power: 475.58 HP @ 8,080 RPM
 Max Torque: 336.43 Nm @ 5,890 RPM
Q: What is a Non-OPF model?
A: A Non-OPF model is a vehicle not equipped with an Otto Particulate Filter (OPF / GPF). These filters are typically installed on European-spec cars for emissions compliance. GT4 RS models in Canada, the USA, and select other markets are Non-OPF and have fewer monitored sensors, making them ideal for free-flowing exhaust upgrades without the need for tuning.
Q: How does the sound compare to the stock GT4 RS exhaust?
A: With valves open, the sound is sharper, louder, and more motorsport-inspired, while still being clean and resonant. Valves closed, the system delivers a refined, quieter experience suitable for daily driving. It's a true dual-character exhaust.
Q: Is this compatible with aftermarket headers or factory components?
A: Yes. The Fi EXHAUST system features precision-fit flanges and is fully compatible with both OEM and most aftermarket headers if connecting points are developed based on OEM measurements.
Q: Which models is this exhaust compatible with?
A: The Fi EXHAUST system is compatible with the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS and 718 Spyder RS models. It supports both Non-OPF versions (such as U.S. and Canadian cars) and OPF-equipped European models.
